BBC Good Food - Recipes is a nice app produced by BBC Worldwide. The app is free but if you want to download special cookbooks, you have to pay for them. The app is a comprehensive recipes database.
Each recipe is nicely presented (you have overview of the recipe, list of ingredients, detailed method and many photos) and contains nutritional information on kcals, protein, carbs and so on. The app also gives you access to interesting recipe packs (paid), such as, healthy cookbook, cake cookbook, seasonal cookbook etc.

This is another winner among offline recipe apps for Android. I stumbled upon this app by accident and I loved it immediately. The app allows you to search multiple popular recipe websites at the same time (e.g. FoodNetwork.com, AllRecipes.com and so on).
The recipes you found and used will be stored on your device so you won't need the Internet to take a look at them later on. What's more the app also has two nice features Planner (you can plan your dishes for specific dates) and Shopping (the app can also act as your shopping list).

This is not a strictly recipe app for Android but still it is a must-have for any cook. At a first glance, the app looks like a regular calculator. However, this is a recipe portion calculator which concerts fractions to fractions and includes metric and imperial conversion. I couldn't do without it in the kitchen!
