In this quick tutorial you will learn how to make Android forget a Wi-Fi network in a few seconds.
In most cases we want our Android phone to remember the Wi-Fi network we added to it a while ago.
Who wants to type the network password every time he or she wants to use Wi-Fi? No one, obviously.
However, when the administrator of the Wi-Fi network changes its password, our phone won't be able to connect to this network any more.

Follow along to learn how to forget a Wi-Fi network on Android.
This is the easiest and the quickest method that will let you make your Android phone forget a Wi-Fi network. Note that this may differ a bit depending on the phone model and version of Android you are using.
Here is what you need to do:
The default Wi-Fi settings available on Android offer you only basic customization and give you basic info about the Wi-Fi networks available.
If you want to learn more about your Wi-Fi networks, you can use a special app for analyzing Wi-Fi networks. I recommend using:
On the screenshots below I am showing you Wi-Fi Manager.
Open Wi-Fi Manager to forget a Wi-Fi network (or analyze it in more depth). Click on the network you want to forget and click FORGET.
You can also display only known networks. To do that click on the drop-down under Wi-Fi Manager and select Known networks.
