Here you will find the best Android weather apps.
Do you use your Android phone to check what the weather is like? I do! The possibility of viewing current weather conditions has become one of my favorite features of Android since I got my first Droid. There are many weather apps out there but only a few really stand out from the crowd.
In this article, you will discover 5 best Android weather apps and choose the best one for you.
AccuWeather is one of the most popular weather apps for Android. This is quite a simple app which allows you to check weather conditions in an unlimited number of locations (you can enter them manually or let the phone will detect them).
Once you set your locations, you can view current conditions (temperature, humidity, visibility, wind etc.) and daily or hourly charts. What's more, you can also view your locations on a map and watch video clips with weather forecast. Of course, you can also add widgets to the desktop and enable alerts for severe weather conditions.

This is in my opinion the best Android weather app and also the most advanced one. Weather Bug offers you a comprehensive weather forecast of any location you want.
Once you set your location (or the app detects it), you can swipe though the app's different features, such as, current weather conditions, weather forecast for 7 days, pin-point interactive maps with multiple layers (pressure, wind speed, humidity etc.), lifestyle forecast (golf forecast, aches & pains forecast, game day forecast etc.) or, even, live weather cams (from more than 2,000 weather cameras from across the US).
This is one of the simplest Android weather apps. You just have to set your location (or locations) or have it detected automatically and then you can view current weather conditions and weather forecast for 6 days. You can also add five different widgets with a clock to your desktop. Take a look at the screenshots below.
The Weather Channel
The Weather Channel is probably one of the most popular and the best Android weather apps with tens of millions of downloads. The app basically offers the same features most weather apps for Android offer.
These include an interactive map with multiple layers (rain, humidity etc.), current weather, videos, and forecast. The app also allows you to add two types of nicely looking widgets to your desktop.
Last but certainly not least. iMeteo is a simple app which allows you to view weather conditions of different locations from across the world.
You can simply type in the destination or choose one from 5 different lists available in the app (Italian locations, sea, beach and spot surf, snow and ski plants and so on.) Once you choose a location, you can view detailed weather forecast for it.
You can download this app here at Google Play.
